Maswa Game Reserve

Maswa Game Reserve is a privately managed wilderness area to the west of Serengeti National Parks’s southwestern boundary. There are a number of permanent private camps in the area along with seasonal tented camps – all aimed at the higher end of the market.

Maswa Game Reserve is a refuge area for much of Serengeti’s wildlife, drawn into the area because of the permanent watering points, thickets and grasslands that offer year round forage, including in the dry season. Being outside the parks, walking, night drives, off road driving and other activities are permitted when accompanied by a professional guide.
