Legendary Serengeti Camp has been replaced by Legendary Nyasi and Songa Camps. These camps operate in Northern Serengeti, on either side of the Mara River. In October 2024, Songa will reopen as a permanent camp in Southern Serengeti.

Legendary Serengeti Camp is a mobile camp that relocates seasonally within Serengeti National Park and MaswaGame Reserve. The 11 tents are pitched as a split camp. One side has 6 or 7 tents and the other, 5 or 4 tents. Each section faces a different direction and natural habitat ensures maximum privacy. Each section of the camp is fully contained with separate lounge and dining facility. Six or more guests are therefore guaranteed an exclusive part of the camp. Smaller parties will have semi-exclusivity, where another couple or small family may be booked into camp simultaneously. Each party will have a private safari vehicle for game drives and seated at separate dining tables at mealtimes.
The mobile camps close from 1 May until 15 May in anticipation of high rainfall during the green season. The planned dates for camp mobilisation are subject to change to follow the migratory route of the wildebeest. Should the herds move earlier or later than expected, the camps will be mobilised accordingly. Please enquire with specific dates to check the expected location of the camp.
