Brief Description

This comprehensive Tanzania safari takes you to the most renowned parks in Northern, Western, and Southern Tanzania. It is a captivating three-week drive and fly safari, ideal for the period from July to October.

In northern Tanzania, you will have the opportunity to explore Tarangire Park, which is particularly stunning during the dry season. Along the way to Ngorongoro crater, you will also make a quick stop at the small but unique Manyara National Park. Your camp will be located in a secluded area on the northwestern rim of the Ngorongoro crater, offering awe-inspiring views. After Ngorongoro, you will fly to northern Serengeti and stay at the classic mobile Serengeti Safari Camp situated in Northern Serengeti. This will provide you with the best chances to witness the incredible wildebeest migration. From the Serengeti, you will fly south for an unforgettable experience in the wild Katavi and the amazing Mahale, situated on the shores of Lake Tanganyika. Get ready for extraordinary encounters with chimpanzees and enjoy swimming in the lake. The final week of your safari will take you to the remote Ruaha National Park, followed by a final stop on the banks of the mighty Rufiji River in Nyerere National Park, Africa’s largest wildlife reserve.

During your safari, you will have the opportunity to enjoy night drives in Tarangire, Katavi, and Nyerere. If you’re interested, you can also choose to go fly camping (at an additional cost). Fishing enthusiasts can try their hand at catching Catfish and Tiger fish in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Tanganyika or the Rufiji River. You will also have the chance to walk with Maasai warriors along the rim of Ngorongoro and go on professionally guided bush walks in Serengeti, Katavi, and Nyerere.

To make your safari even more memorable, you will be accompanied by exceptional guides and indulge in superb food. The safari camps are designed to have a minimal impact on the environment while providing a stylish and comfortable experience. You will have the opportunity to witness the absolute best of Tanzania’s wildlife, making this safari a must-consider option if Tanzania is on your wish list and you want to make the most of your African Safari.
