Serengeti

Serengeti National Park is one of those destinations you just have to visit. Spending a week here is a privilege and not too much as there is so much to see.  A common mistake is trying to visit too many parks in just one trip which means you could miss the opportunity to explore the very different parts making up this haven.

From game viewing from your 4×4, to professionally guided multi-day walking safaris or shorter hikes, to drifting overhead in a hot air balloon, you have plenty of options to choose from.

Serengeti is good any time of year but with the chance of heavy downpours in November, April and May. With the rains, Serengeti changes from vast golden plains to brilliant green, and never stays the same. And – the migration is always around, somewhere.
