Itinerary Details

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will board a short flight to Seronera airstrip, followed by a drive to your camp. Once you arrive at Namiri Plains, you can immerse yourself in the camp’s ambiance while observing the wildlife from the elegant main area. In the afternoon, set out on a thrilling game drive to discover this exclusive part of the famed Serengeti. You may also take a moment to enjoy your favorite sundowners atop the enchanting Soit Le Motonyi rocks, where breathtaking views of the lush plains and acacia woodlands await. In this serene setting, it will feel as if you are the sole adventurers in the Serengeti!

When you return to camp, savor a delectable three-course dinner under the starry sky, accompanied by the soothing sounds of the night.

In the following days, partake in morning and afternoon game drives and walking safaris from Namiri Plains, guided by our knowledgeable experts who are intimately familiar with the grassy plains, kopjes, and acacia woodlands. Look out for the elusive cheetah roaming the expansive grasslands and lion prides basking on the kopjes, while also keeping an eye out for other fascinating species, including giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, buffaloes, and a diverse array of birdlife. During the heat of the day, return to camp to relax by the pool or indulge in a rejuvenating massage, preparing you for the exciting afternoon activities ahead.

After breakfast, bid farewell to Namiri Plains as you travel to the airstrip for your flight to Kogatende Airstrip in the Northern Serengeti. Upon your arrival, a guide from Sayari will be waiting to take you on a game drive as you make your way to the camp. Once you reach the camp, a delicious lunch will be served. In the afternoon, you can choose to unwind at the camp or embark on another game drive to discover this unique area of the park. The landscape here contrasts with Namiri Plains, featuring lush riverine forests and open grassy valleys, along with stunning views of the Olololo Escarpment that stretches into Kenya’s Masai Mara. After your adventures, return to camp to freshen up and enjoy a drink by the traditional safari campfire.

You have several options for structuring your day based on your preferences. One option is to depart early and enjoy a picnic breakfast during a morning game drive, returning to camp in time for lunch. Afterward, you can opt for another game drive or relax by the pool with a good book. Alternatively, you may choose to have breakfast at the camp before heading out for a game drive with a picnic lunch, returning in the mid-afternoon. Please note that game drives are shared with other guests from the camp, but the camp staff will do their utmost to accommodate your preferred schedule. For added flexibility, private vehicle hire is available as an optional extra, but must be arranged in advance. Additionally, consider the thrilling option of hot air ballooning to enhance your safari experience with breathtaking aerial views of the wildlife and plains, followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush.

Today, you will embark on a journey south to the breathtaking and varied Ruaha National Park. Upon your arrival at Msembe Airstrip, a friendly guide will be there to welcome you. Experience the park’s beauty firsthand as you enjoy a game drive to Jabali Ridge, traversing through lush woodlands and expansive plains, ultimately arriving in the picturesque valley of baobab trees where your lodge awaits. Once you settle into your suite, take a moment to soak in the stunning views of the valley. After a delightful lunch, you have the option to relax by the pool, indulge in a soothing massage, or set off on an afternoon game drive following a refreshing afternoon tea.

In the days to come, our knowledgeable managers and guides will present various activity options for you to choose from, allowing you to tailor your experience. Morning walking safaris are an excellent way to kickstart your day, providing a unique opportunity to explore the wildlife and natural surroundings during the cooler hours. We can also arrange for breakfasts and lunches to be enjoyed at the camp or in the bush as part of your adventures. Alternatively, you may wish to spend some time at the lodge, taking advantage of the spa, observing local wildlife grazing nearby, and unwinding by the swimming pool before heading out on an exciting night game drive.

You’ll have a final breakfast at Jabali Ridge before a drive to the airstrip for your late-morning flight to Dar es Salaam. The flight will likely stop a couple of times on the way to drop off/pick up passengers, and the total journey will be approximately two hours. You will land at the domestic terminal and the airline will help you transfer the short distance to the international terminal, where you can check in for your international flight home.
