Ruaha and Selous are the most important Southern Circuit parks in Tanzania. Selous is the largest protected area in Africa and the camp location of the banks of the majestic Rufiji River is a truly spectacular setting and magnet for wildlife from far and wide. Ruaha National Park is remote and forms the heart of of a larger conservation area that includes, Rungwa, Kizigo, Muhesi and Usanga Game Reserves. This safari starts and ends in Dar es Salaam, but can also form an extension to a northern and western Tanzania itinerary.
