Naboisho Camp is situated in a 50,000 acre conservancy bordering the Maasai Mara Game Reserve to the west and the Olare Orok Conservancy ("OOC") to the north. With just 9 tents this camp offers guests the chance to explore this diverse wilderness in a more intimate way. Unfettered by park regulations the range of activities are amongst the best in the region. The experience is based out of a camp that offers spacious traditional tents that include comfortable beds and a tented safari bathroom that includes a flush toilet, a sink and a shower plumbed with hot running water. Tortilis Camp is named after the flat-topped umbrella thorn tree, Acacia Tortilis, a sight synonymous with East Africa. It is situated in one of Amboseli's areas of Acacia Tortilis woodland, with the majestic backdrop of Africa's highest mountain, the snow-capped Kilimanjaro. Game drives, walks, sundowners and bush meals are enjoyed both inside the park, and within a private 30,000-acre game where Tortilis Camp is located. Consider combining a visit to Amboseli with a stay in Kenya's Mara, Laikipia and Lewa areas close to Mt. Kenya. -
