This snug little setup is chock-full of character with a view over the rushing Mara River, bursting with laughing hippo and languorous crocodile.     Serian Serengeti South Camp

    Serian’s Serengeti is a mobile camp and from mid-December to May, it's set up on the southernmost extreme of the Serengeti’s short grass plains: prime position to spectate the wildebeest birthing season. Dramatic savannah storms sweep in nourishment and new life, and an innate primordial urge pulls the wildebeest to the site of their origins to reproduce. The plains literally come to life for the birthing season. Millions of gnus and zebra dominate the landscape, looking for the fresh green grass that follows the first rains – and to give birth to their young.     Mila Tented Camp

    First opened in December 2019 in the Mwiba Wildlife Reserve, Mila Camp is relocating to the Nyasirori part of Western Corridor area of Serengeti where it will be ideally located to take advantage of the Wildebeest migration as it passes through this area between May and July each year. This classic East African tented camp offers a pristine safari not lacking in any of the comforts. Resident game is present year round and the camp will also have access to the Grumeti River ecosystem.
    With five tented rooms and a two-bedroom family tent, Mila Tented Camp draws inspiration from the Hadzabe, who are known for their honey. The location does not interrupt wildlife behavior as the wildebeest mass along the steep banks during their frantic crossing on their way north to the Maasai Mara. Guests enjoy fabulous landscapes and terrific game viewing. Resident wildlife numbers are high, but nothing compared to the dramatic scenes during the migration. Migration time is when tens of thousands of animals gather to then plunge into the crocodile-infested river - an amazing spectacle!

    Lemala Nanyukie opened in October 2018 in the fabulous Eastern Serengeti. Meaning ‘endless plains’ in the Maasai language, the Serengeti is one of the world's most celebrated wilderness areas. Lemala Nanyukie is located a 45-minute drive east of the Seronera Airstrip in the park’s central region with outstanding views across the ‘endless plains’. The camp sits on a grassy savanna dotted with rocky kopjes and shaded by ancient giant acacia trees.​ This area of the Serengeti is crossed by the annual wildebeest migration. It also has high-density game-viewing at all times and is well-known for its large concentration of cats. Lemala Nanyukie will be open year-round, and safari activities like game drives and walks will be accompanied by knowledgeable and experienced guides.
