    Chem Chem Lodge blends in with the wilderness that stretches on all sides. Chem Chem’s main Lodge reflects the form of a flamingo with its wings spread wide for landing. One wing holds the full-service gourmet restaurant and an outside fire place, the other wing offers a bar, lounge, fire place and fully stocked library. The Lodge also boasts a viewing deck with views over Lake Manyara. Outside, discover the gym or the pool hidden in the trees while the Chem Chem Spa offers utter relaxation. Between November and May, the camp is well positioned to access the vast herds of the annual Migration as they pass through Soit Le Motonyi and gather on the plains to the south west of Namiri Plains. Namiri Camp has now been reopened as a completely renovated permanent tented lodge.

    The 8 tented camp is set high in the Ngorongoro Highlands on the slopes of the Olmoti Volcano. The are views of the Gol Mountains in the North and Empakaai Crater in the East. The Highlands offers a comfortable and stylish high-altitude retreat in dome shaped tents, inspired by the Maasai bomas dotting the surrounding highlands. The eight large tents have en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets and plumbed showers. Snug beds and a wood burning stove keep guests warm on even the coldest nights. The main area offers both sunrise views from the dining area, as well as sunset views from the bar/ lounge and a large inside fire place to ensure the safari feeling of a camp fire even when the temperature outside is too cold to sit out.
