Banagi green camp location
Serengeti is Africa’s most famous park. The variety and abundance of wildlife here is unmatched anywhere else in Africa. Banagi is a central location in the Serengeti. Camp is situated a 35 minute drive North of the Seronera airstrip. This is close to where the road divides: One leads to Serengeti’s Western Corridor, another to the North and the third to the Ikoma / Robanda area to the Northwest. Banagi is a good mid-way stop for guests traveling from Ngorongoro Crater to Northern Serengeti.
Lightweight glamping
Banagi Green Camp is a small but comfortable camp. It has stylish tents offering lightweight African “glamping”. The tents are 4m across, each with with a double bed. Tents have 100% linen bedding, chairs, luggage racks and an attached bathroom area with hot water bucket-shower. The camp has 5 tents, so generally only 10 guests, not counting the occasional triple.
Home cooking and low impact
All meals are prepared in the camp’s kitchen and served by waiters as either plated or buffet, depending on the menu of the day. All meals are 3-course, well prepared home cooking. The camp has shared dining, however private dining can be arranged on request. The Green Camps operate in the most environmentally sustainable manner. Camps use low-impact energy creation wherever possible, minimize waste by preparing some meals elements in Arusha. Camps are 100% plastic free, use solar powered light, recycle and loads more.
