Katambuga House – Dining
Meals at Katambuga house are tasty and prepared to a high level. Dining is at individual private tables.
Breakfast is served in the main house. A self-service buffet features a selection of cereals, fruit, vegetables, yogurt and scones while eggs are made to order and served to the table with bacon, sausage and fried tomatoes. Fresh juice, toast, jams and marmalades are served as well.
Lunch is normally served around the pool as a buffet, with the menus emphasizing light and healthy. The buffet always includes a selection of tasty fresh salads, meat and vegeterian dishes, such as curries, couscous and quiches. For desert, there enjoy a cake or pudding, as well as a fresh fruit selection.
Early pre-dinner snacks are served on the veranda, such as polenta sticks in rosemary, preceding a classic three course meal served either in the main room or the veranda weather permitting. Special dietary requirements can be catered for with prior notice. From the bar in the main building, a selection of spirits, South African wines, local beers and a variety of cocktails can be ordered.
