Safari Description
Brief Description
Ngorongoro and Serengeti are must visit destinations during Tanzania’s green season from December through to June. In a normal year, rains fall in December and again in April and May when the parks turn a brilliant green. This is when the Wildebeest Migration heads to the Southern part of Serengeti to calve and feed on their favorite short grass. This safari starts in Manyara National Park, continues to take in the world famous Ngorongoro Crater and then splits into two locations in the Serengeti – the South for the wildebeest migration and the North for some well earned glamping at Serengeti Lamai. Northern Serengeti is home to a surprising amount of wildlife year round even after the wildebeest have moved South, so there will never be a dull moment.
