Set in the remote southern reaches of Tarangire National Park and within easy reach of the Silale swamps, Oliver’s Camp is an echo of the early days of East African safaris. Alongside Oliver’s ten ensuite tents, Little Oliver’s offers a more intimate safari with just five exclusive tents. Both camps are perfect for those searching for genuine experiences in the unique, baobab-filled landscape.
Oliver’s Camp Tarangire
Oliver’s Camp is situated in the exclusive southern part of Tarangire National Park in Northern Tanzania. The 10 guest tents are well spaced out, ensuring a feeling of exclusivity and intimacy. The camp design and atmosphere provide a classical bush experience: solid wooden furniture, comfortable chairs and a library with books on the surrounding nature and wildlife. The tents have excellent bathroom facilities, with running hot and cold water, flush loos and proper showers looking out over the Minyonyo floodplains. After the days activities, guests can relax on their private veranda, in the lounge/library tent, in the dining tent or around the fireplace under the Tarangire sky. The camp crew has been a close team for many years and this clearly shows in their deep knowledge of the park and the quality of food and personal service.
