Nkorombo is Serian’s tented mobile camp, set on a private riverside site in the Masai Mara Reserve. This snug little setup is chock-full of character with a view over the rushing Mara River, bursting with laughing hippo and languorous crocodile. Much like at Serian and Ngare Serian, life at Nkorombo is low-key and tranquil. Dramatic savannah storms sweep in nourishment and new life, and an innate primordial urge pulls the wildebeest to the site of their origins to reproduce. First opened in December 2019 in the Mwiba Wildlife Reserve, Mila Camp is relocating to the Nyasirori part of Western Corridor area of Serengeti where it will be ideally located to take advantage of the Wildebeest migration as it passes through this area between May and July each year. This classic East African tented camp offers a pristine safari not lacking in any of the comforts. Resident game is present year round and the camp will also have access to the Grumeti River ecosystem.With five tented rooms and a two-bedroom family tent, Mila Tented Camp draws inspiration from the Hadzabe, who are known for their honey. This is reflected in the natural linens, textiles, and colours that blend into the environment and welcome travellers to soak up the beautiful surroundings, both inside and out. Chem Chem lies just outside of Tarangire Park
Little Chem Chem is situated just outside Northwestern boundary of Tarangire National Park overlooking Lake Burunge. It lies within a 16,000 hectare exclusive-use wildlife management area. Guests have the privilege of enjoying amazing interaction with a variety of wildlife species including the big tusker elephants which have found a sanctuary in the WMA. Walking, night drives, cultural visits and game drives are the main activities on offer in the area. Access by road from Arusha, taking about 2 hours, or alternatively and highly recommended, fly to Kuro Airstrip in the center of Tarangire and gradually make your way to camp on a game drive provided by Chem Chem.
