Lemala Nanyukie opened in October 2018 in the fabulous Eastern Serengeti. Meaning ‘endless plains’ in the Maasai language, the Serengeti is one of the world's most celebrated wilderness areas. Lemala Nanyukie is located a 45-minute drive east of the Seronera Airstrip in the park’s central region with outstanding views across the ‘endless plains’. The camp sits on a grassy savanna dotted with rocky kopjes and shaded by ancient giant acacia trees. This area of the Serengeti is crossed by the annual wildebeest migration. It also has high-density game-viewing at all times and is well-known for its large concentration of cats. Lemala Nanyukie will be open year-round, and safari activities like game drives and walks will be accompanied by knowledgeable and experienced guides. -
Lemala Ngorongoro is set in an ancient acacia forest close to the rim of the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. As it is located next to the quiet Lemala crater access road on the north east side, a key advantage of staying at Lemala Ngorongoro is the quick and easy drive down on to the crater floor in the morning. Lemala guests usually have an hour's head start over others descending via the busier Seneto crater access road on the western rim. Game drives from camp may start as early as 6.15am and guests can be down among Ngorongoro’s abundant wildlife on the floor within 10-15 minutes - crucial for photographers who demand the best light conditions. Escorted walks are also available into the forest and along the crater rim with an armed ranger and Maasai guide. -
Sanctuary Ngorongoro is located in Lemala Forest on the Eastern rim of Ngorongoro Crater not far from the access road. Set in the midst of old acacia trees, it has views through the trees to the crater. Access is via a meandering forest road, which leads to a natural clearing in the forest where camp is set. Ngorongoro is a highland area, which means that it gets cold, especially in the months July to September. Visitors will feel at one with nature at this location. -

Serengeti Walking Camps are lightweight private camps set in wilderness areas far from the busy tourist areas. These camps are designed to move catering for up to 6 days of walking in an area. Camp tents are relatively small 2.5m x 2.5m dome tents but with comfortable foam mattresses are covered with 100% linen bedding. Meals are eaten under the stars or in the shade of of a tree. A small mess tent is available in the event of bad weather. All meals are 3-course sit down affairs, prepared by the camp chef and served by waiters. All walking camps are private and groups and therefore never mixed. -

The 8 tented camp is set high in the Ngorongoro Highlands on the slopes of the Olmoti Volcano. The are views of the Gol Mountains in the North and Empakaai Crater in the East. The Highlands offers a comfortable and stylish high-altitude retreat in dome shaped tents, inspired by the Maasai bomas dotting the surrounding highlands. The eight large tents have en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets and plumbed showers. Snug beds and a wood burning stove keep guests warm on even the coldest nights. Entamanu Ngorongoro sits on the remote Northwestern corner of the Ngorongoro Crater rim. The camp is accessed via its own road from where there are spectacular views down over the Southern Serengeti before popping up over the Rim to the immensity of the Crater below. This is one of the only sites at the Crater where it is still an experience of the Crater as it used to be. Far from the crowds, tucked away and remote. This site is in the only place where you can watch the sun rise over the Crater, and set over the Serengeti. It can be cold here, it can be windy and it can be foggy, but come prepared and the reward is great. This is how it feels to really live on the edge of the world, right up close and personal with the wild of these volcanic highlands. A lot of thought has gone into keeping everyone comfortable here where the elements are king. Gas heaters in the rooms, fires in the main mess and lots of cosy corners wrapped in sheepskin. The wind can be intense depending on the seasons so the camp is designed to limit any noise in the rooms at night.
