Chem Chem Lodge blends in with the wilderness that stretches on all sides. Chem Chem’s main Lodge reflects the form of a flamingo with its wings spread wide for landing. One wing holds the full-service gourmet restaurant and an outside fire place, the other wing offers a bar, lounge, fire place and fully stocked library. The Lodge also boasts a viewing deck with views over Lake Manyara. Outside, discover the gym or the pool hidden in the trees while the Chem Chem Spa offers utter relaxation. The spacious eight tent-style suites (100 m²) offer ultra-luxurious accommodation under the immense African skies. Natural textures and surfaces such as wood, canvas, cotton and lava rock convey a sense of merging with your surrounds. Fall asleep in the softest bedlinen to the distant laugh of a hyena, the click of crickets, a nightjar’s call. Awake to the sounds of the wilderness stretching and yawning. Your privacy is ensured with the nearest neighbour at least 80m away. Family groups are catered for with a full suite connected by a small wooden bridge to a vintage-style tented room (50 m²) with its own indoor shower. It can sleep up to three children and two adults. Walking, night drives, cultural visits and game drives are the main activities on offer in the area. Access by road from Arusha, taking about 2 hours, or alternatively and highly recommended, fly direct to Chem Chem Airstrip near the camp. Sanctuary Ngorongoro is located in Lemala Forest on the Eastern rim of Ngorongoro Crater not far from the access road. Set in the midst of old acacia trees, it has views through the trees to the crater. Access is via a meandering forest road, which leads to a natural clearing in the forest where camp is set. Ngorongoro is a highland area, which means that it gets cold, especially in the months July to September. Visitors will feel at one with nature at this location. -

The Manyara Green Camp is set in the South of Manyara National Park, an that area gets very few visitors . Most visitors to this park come for the day and do not move far from the main gate. The camp is set on the shores of Lake Manyara, under acacia Tortilis trees. It is common to see elephant, impala and baboon in camp while giraffe can be seen strolling near the lake shore. -
Chem Chem lies just outside of Tarangire Park
Little Chem Chem is situated just outside Northwestern boundary of Tarangire National Park overlooking Lake Burunge. It lies within a 16,000 hectare exclusive-use wildlife management area. Guests have the privilege of enjoying amazing interaction with a variety of wildlife species including the big tusker elephants which have found a sanctuary in the WMA. Walking, night drives, cultural visits and game drives are the main activities on offer in the area. Access by road from Arusha, taking about 2 hours, or alternatively and highly recommended, fly to Kuro Airstrip in the center of Tarangire and gradually make your way to camp on a game drive provided by Chem Chem. -
Ubuntu Camp has just 7 tents and is designed to reach key wildlife areas. It is lightweight enough to move seasonally, and while doing so, offers every comfort possible. Each tent is either a double or a twin with an ensuite bathroom with safari shower. A small veranda and seating area allows guests to enjoy the peace of the bush in their own space. The communal areas are set around an open fire. These include a dining area and a sitting area from where guests can enjoy the space this wilderness offers. -

Beho Beho was the first camp in The Selous Game Reserve to be sited in its cooler highlands. Here it enjoys 'cooling breezes' from which it derives its name. Designated a private camp, it has fiercely protected its individuality and privileged location. It is one of the most magical places to visit in safari Africa. Beho Beho is not really a camp in the true sense of the word. It has individual bandas built of stone, with palm-leaf thatched roofs. Therefore it is not the tented accommodation often associated with a camp. Nor is it a safari lodge either, as it has only eight bandas, four on one side of the main house and four on the other. Think of Beho Beho as a home, a very private home situated in the middle of the African bush. Owned by the Bailey family for over forty years, they now share their "home in the bush". A fortunate few are able to share their enjoyment of Beho Beho, one of their favourite places in the world.
